This Sunday Clare Fortune-Lad will give her award-winning sermon, “#MeToo, Now What?” Clare will explore the Me Too Movement that has been shining light on the problems of sexual assault and harassment in our country and ask, “How do we remain spiritually whole while facing the pain of this moment head on?” Clare originally preached this sermon in January at the UU Church of Haverhill, Massachusetts where she serves as the Director of Religious Education. This spring, it won the 2018 UU Women’s Federation Sermon Award and she had the privilege of preaching it again at the UUA General Assembly in Kansas City in June.
