Join us this Sunday when we welcome Rev Steve Edington with his service titled No Such Thing as a Sure Thing.

The title comes from a line in one of Ric Masten’s poems that he wrote after getting a cancer diagnosis: “It’s only in uncertainty that true hope can be found; And you can bet a sure thing will always let you down.” It’s about how we meaningfully and purposefully live in the face of the uncertainties we are often confronted with. In a broader sense, it has to do with how—from a liberal religious angle—we live by faith.
