This Sunday we welcome Tom Putnam to our pulpit with his service titled Small Misty Mountain. Tom writes: Last April, the Reverend Rob McCall, formally the minister of the Congregational Church in Blue Hill passed away. I’ve spent much of this summer reading his three books and, for the first time, climbing his beloved Blue Hill Mountain, known in Algonkian as “Awanadjo” meaning “small, misty mountain.” In this sermon I’ll share portions of Reverend McCall’s wisdom on how sacred places can impart a sense of being at home, and one, with Nature.
We hope you will join us either in person or online.
